RELIGION IN JAPAN - the celebration of children

I will come again, at a later stage, to the topic of religion in Japan. For the time being, just a couple of photos about a nice celebration that took place a few days ago. Every year, in November, families take their children to the shrine. Every children? No. This celebration is called 3-5-7, because only children of these ages are presented in the shrine dressed in traditional kimonos. For a few hours, the neighbourhood was very colourful with all these kids, looking happy (but in same cases a bit scared...) and giving their parents the photo-opportunities they are always looking for.
