THINGS I WILL MISS ABOUT BRUSSELS (II) - “Frites” – Don’t ask me why because I can’t explain it. But the Belgian “frites” are the best in the world. They are crispy, crunchy, sometimes spicy, and moderately salty. They are served with almost everything but their zenith is the happy marriage with the “moules”. Needless to say, it goes better with a “blanche”. [Hint: best frites in town are in Place Jourdan and in Place de la Chapelle].
