LECTURES IN HIROSHIMA

At the entrance of Hiroshima High School with the Vice-Principal. In the framework of Europe's Day, I came to this school to speak to 500 students about the European Union. The students were very interested, very well prepared and very active. After my lecture, we had a Q&A period of 30 minutes and we had to stop because I had to run to catch the train back to Tokyo. They wanted to know about the "freedoms", the common currency and the European Parliament. On the previous day, I had been to Hofu Commercial School (Yamaguchi Prefecture), where I spoke to another group of 480 students. Also here, I was amazed by the interest and commitment shown by Japanese students and teachers.
